Gray hair is
the first sign of aging and coloring it with a chemical-laden dye is certainly not
be the best idea especially for your health. Some people are allergic to
paraphenylenediamine, it’s a chemical found in permanent gray hair dyes, and it’s
a fact that you may not be able to use common brands of dye. Please note that reports
have shown that carcinogenic ingredients in some hair dyes are another concern,
by the U.S. National Cancer Institute. Below are some natural ways to control
gray hair, try a hair-tinting herbal rinse.
Step
1
Getting rid of
grays are easy use approximately 3 tbsp. each of hair-darkening dry sage and
dry rosemary in a pan, jar or other container that are heat-safe. For a golden
tint, use 2 pinches of saffron, instead. Bring 1 quart of water to a boil in a
separate pan and then pour water onto the herbs. Mix the sage and rosemary for
30 minutes or the saffron for 10 minutes. Mix longer if you want your gray hair
to get a more intense color. When the mixture is cooled, strain out the herbs.
Step 2
You may shampoo
and rinse your gray hair as usual. You must place either a large bowl in the
sink or bottom of your bathtub. As you pour the mixture on to your gray hair make
sure that the catches the remaining mixture. The reason for catching the
mixture into the bowl is because you will be using it to repeat the process for
at least 15 times for the best results. You should notice that your grays are disappearing
within 15 minutes while repeating this process.
